Beckwith & Kuffel welcomes Steve Eckert to our team as Service Operations Manager. Steve oversees all aspects of our service operation including shop repairs and field service, to help ensure we fulfill the commitments we make to all customers.

Steve has extensive experience in manufacturing operations and quality control. For 12 years prior to joining B&K, he was Operations Engineering and Plant Manager for an architectural glass company. He also served in process improvement in the aerospace industry and in field service and aftermarket support for a water jet manufacturer.

“I’m excited to welcome Steve to Beckwith and Kuffel,” said President Matt Kuffel. “Like us, he is passionate about utilizing technology and systems to make accessing information simpler and organizing work easier.”

Steve enjoys biking to work from his home in West Seattle. When not at work, Steve enjoys exploring the hiking trails and other outdoor activities in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and plays in a small community orchestra.

Granich Engineered Products, a Beckwith & Kuffel company, is excited to welcome Dakota Bartles as our new Western Washington Municipal Territory Manager. Dakota replaces TM Ken Hogan who retired in September 2021 after 40 years in the pump business.

Dakota comes to us from an industrial pump rental company where he was an Outside Sales Rep. Prior to that Dakota served as the Utilities Manager at an animal feed and nutrition manufacturer.

Dakota earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Wichita State University in 2015. He recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest and is discovering why people enjoy making this area their home. He says, “I just love living here.”

Sales and Marketing VP John Wallace is impressed with Dakota’s background. “Because of his previous experience with rotating equipment, he will hit the ground running. Whether a new application or troubleshooting issues, he will be of immediate value to our customers,” Wallace said.

When he’s not working, Dakota enjoys adventurous outdoor activities. His favorites: dirt biking, snowboarding and mountain biking.

Since 1982, Granich has offered superior pump and process equipment sales and service for the states of Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Northern Idaho.

Beckwith and Kuffel is pleased to announce that John Wallace is joining our family as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

John comes to us with years of diverse experience in the rotating equipment industry. For the past 13 years, he served in sales and sales leadership positions at Wilden (PSG) and Flygt (Xylem). Prior to his sales roles he held various field service roles for two large equipment OEMs and brings plenty of hands on experience with the rotating equipment we sell and service.

John leads our overall sales effort, aimed at creating new connections and deepening our current customer relationships. He also actively manages our vendor partnerships.

We look forward to John’s contributions as we strive to be of maximum service to our customers.
