SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Required
Skills & Abilities:
- Good
communication skills and the ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Accountable
for the teardown, inspection and estimate of various centrifugal
and positive displacement pumps.
- Repair,
install and align pumps and accessories.
- Perform
troubleshooting and repair of industrial pumps at customer
field locations.
- Evaluate
pump systems (process, steam and hydronic), gather information
and solve problems.
- Must
be detail oriented in completing work orders, all required
forms, summaries and checklist daily or as required in procedures
manual.
- Must
have strong language skills as well as industry specific
vocabulary.
- Basic
mathematics, algebra and formula knowledge are required.
- Must
have very strong reasoning and problem solving skills.
Education
& Experience Requirements:
Completed High school diploma or equivalent. Two years
of technical school, community college or trade school. Position
requires five years of mechanical experience in the industry.
Computer knowledge a plus. (Entry-level applicants are also
encouraged to apply.)
Other
Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required. Must be insurable
with no major infractions. Job will require some travel.

SALES
POSITIONS
Required
Skills & Abilities:
- Must
have good communication skills and the ability to work in
a team atmosphere.
- Accountable
for the sales of pumps and associated equipment to end-users
and mechanical contractors.
- Regular
contact with specifying engineers to help write specifications
for equipment.
- Must
have good knowledge in applying the customer's parameters
to the criteria of various products including pumps and
pump accessories.
- Must
have the ability to perform pump sizing and applications
calculations on various pumps to assist engineers, contractors,
and end-users in proper equipment selection.
- Must
be detail oriented in completing specifications, proposals
and submittals detailing scope of supply.
- Must
have strong language skills as well as industry specific
vocabulary. Basic mathematics, algebra, and formula knowledge
are required.
- Must
have computer skills.
Education
& Experience Requirements:
Completed High school diploma or equivalent. College
degree, technical school, community college or trades school,
a plus. Prior mechanical equipment sales experience is expected.
Sales experience in the pump industry is a plus.
